ESPA LEADER PROGRAM

 

ESPA’s leadership program is for members at the associate director, director and VP level and is a forum for leaders in the service field to collaborate, share best practices and talk through challenges and solutions.

Leaders within our member organizations meet on a regular basis to discuss key topics for those leading services departments.  A dedicated track is held at the Annual Conference.  Recent topics have included:

  • Demonstrating the value of services to your organization
  • Goalsetting and budgeting
  • COVID-19 best practices and new services
  • Leading through change & challenging times

Topic: Leadership Roundtables: Best Practices for a Hybrid Work Model

The meeting industry has traditionally been a face-to face business. Prior to the pandemic, our organizations were not necessarily set up for employees to work remotely. The pandemic forced us to work from home and required everyone to shift the way we work, communicate and lead our teams remotely. This shift also provided an opportunity to re-evaluate priorities and continue to show value.

As meetings are returning to our venues and destinations, employees are also returning to the office. Many organizations are adopting a hybrid work model in order to ease their employees back into the office. This hybrid model is again requiring our leaders to shift the way we lead, communicate and train our teams, rethink the hiring process and much more!

Join your fellow ESPA leaders in a 60 minute roundtable discussion to learn some best practices from your peers on how they are managing their teams in a hybrid work environment. This is one interactive discussion you won’t want to miss! Be prepared to share your perspective with your fellow ESPA leaders.

Note: Registration requires approval from ESPA Headquarters. Once you have been approved, you will receive a link from Zoom to join the call. If you do not receive this link by the morning of the roundtables please email ESPA headquarters at info@epsaonline.org at least 1 hour before the start of the program and the link will be resent to you.
